A Kitten Named Howl
A tiny, cross-eyed
Franken-cat
Crept onto my chest
Fishing for hearts with
Minute needles and
Baby teeth,
Crawled under my skin
Trying mine on for size
While fiercely hunting
Undead mice in his
New suit.
This precociously teeny,
Fluffy bundle
Squirmed into my life
And like a person
Turning into a zombie
I abruptly found a
Howl in my heart.
